Do you use aloe for medicinal or cosmetic purposes?

Hi friends! What kind of aloe is it? Will it be possible to use it for medical or cosmetic purposes later when it will grow bigger, or it is just a decorative type?

How do you use your aloe? I remember, when I was small, my grandmother was cutting aloe leaves in tiny pieces, after that she mixed them with honey and was giving me when I had cough. Is this the right aloe to do it or which type is the best to use?

Thank you!

This is Aloe Vera. It is widely used fo many things. For example the gel inside this aloe leaves can help with many skin problems: heal minor cuts, blisters, burns, insect bites and eczema, soothe and heal sunburns, fight athlete’s foot, soothe psoriasis. Aloe can decrease pigmentation and dark spots. It moisturizes skin and helps in preventing early signs of aging. Aloe vera gel can be directly extracted from the plant and applied to your skin.
