Garden plant identification – what is the name of this plant with purple flowers?

I’d like to find the name of this cute plant with fluffy purple or lavender blue flowers. It looks as it could be a good bedding plant for my garden. The flower heads form dense corymbs. The leaves are opposite and a bit cordate, with serrate margins. Any suggestions, what it is? Thank you for your help.

Thank you for your help! After some research now I think it is Ageratum houstonianum or flossflower, bluemink, blueweed, pussy foot, Mexican paintbrush (Asteraceae) 🙂
