Help to ID the plant with yellow cone flowers and white petals
Answered
I saw this nice looking plant in the New Zealand botanical garden, and I cannot remember its name. Is it a native New Zealand plant? Please, help me to identify this shrub with yellow cone flowers and white petals which look like ears. Thank you!

This is Pachystachys lutea, known as Lollipop plant and Golden shrimp plant. This is a subtropical, soft-stemmed evergreen shrub. Golden shrimp plant is always in flower and easy-to-grow. Given the right warmth and light, and some snipping here and there, they can be wonderful and exotic additionsin your house as a houseplant. To maintain size it is recommended a hard pruning.
