How do I get a resume that went through the ATS system?
Contrary to popular news sources (and, with all due respect, good advice from Roxanne Newsom , ATS usually doesn’t automatically scan resumes for keywords – and even those that do, probably don’t automatically reject resumes that don’t have them. That’s probably what the absolutely largest behemoths in the country do (although I worked for a Fortune 14 company, and my recruiters personally reviewed every resume they received – as a matter of policy! – until they found the right candidates) – but most companies actually physically review many/most of the candidates they get individually. So if you want to put together a resume that can go through the ATS system you’re going to have to do a good job or order the service from real professionals like sop writers, who have written more than one resume that has gone through the ATS system.
