Is it ok to save old strawberry leaves for composting?

I need an advice.  Will it be ok if after cleaning my strawberry plants in spring I’ll save the leaves, etc. for composting? Looking forward for the answers. Thank you!

I wouldn’t recommend to save old strawberry leaves you cleaned in spring for composting.  My advice is just to burn those old strawberry leaves as they might have different harmful spores, bugs and pests on them like spores of powdery mildew, gray mold, white, brown spots, rust,  or strawberry leaf rollers, leaf bettles, etc.
