What is this plant with orange flowers like a baseball-bat?
I saw this bush in India, in Rajasthan. It looks so bright with its orange flowers, which to me look like tiny baseball-bats 🙂 Do you know how this shrub is called? Thank you!
It looks like Pyrostegia venusta, also commonly known as Flamevine (Flame Vine) or Orange Trumpetvine, Flame Vine is a liana (a vigorous, woody climber) that makes a beautiful ornamental plant with cascades of orange flowers. It is commonly grown in tropical and subtropical areas, as well as in mild Mediterranean climates. In some parts of the world it has become naturalized and a weed.
