I saw this plant while traveling in India. I saw an Indian woman was collecting white petals of this plant. Do you have any idea what is this flower and what do they use the petals for? Thank you!

    Hi Traveler! It looks like Vinca (Catharanthus roseus).

    Hello Traveler,
    It is Catharanthus roseus – an evergreen subshrub or herbaceous plant commonly known as the Madagascar periwinkle or Rosy Periwinkle, or as Kathie metioned above – just Vinca. You can read about this plant here http://snaplant.com/flowers/catharanthus-roseus-commonly-known-as-vinca/
