What is this tree with orange flowers?

I would like to know the name of this tree with beautiful orange flowers and glossy leaves. It really looks spectacular when in bloom with its bright orange flowers and ball-like flower buds. Please, help me to identify this tree. Photo is taken in the street in south-west of France.

    It looks like a Pomegranate tree (Punca granatum)
